This salve is a potent "green" salve - perfect as an addition to your herbal first-aid cabinet. Recommended for those who work outside or intensely with their hands & are prone to minor wounds, bug bites, burns, and bruising. Deep Healing Salve is also a great naturopathic remedy for promoting intensive healing on damaged skin, and can be used as a soothing agent for rashes and sunburns. 

An intentionally crafted salve featuring potent herbal infused oils, heirloom Cacao butter, & local Florida beeswax. Salves are a medicinal topical preparation involving infused herbal oils and fats and/or wax. Herbal oils are made by macerating dried herbs in a carrier oil, allowing the oil to extract the medicinal properties of the plants. They have been traditionally used for skin healing in herbal medicine across the globe for centuries, for a wide variety of conditions - like minor wounds, bug bites, scars, burns, dryness, rashes, inflammation, and redness - and make a beautiful skin moisturizer. Herb-infused salves are an excellent way to obtain the healing properties of plants in a gentle manner; no essential oils are used in any herbal topicals in the shop. 

Ingredients: 

- Calendula (Calendula officinalus): Sunlight in a flower. One of the best known plants for skin healing, Calendula has a long history of topical and internal use across classical traditions around the world. Its astringent & vulnerary properties promote cell growth + tissue repair, soothe red or dry skin, & modulate inflammation. A potent & nourishing, all-purpose herb that is gentle enough for all skin types.

- Plantain (Plantago major): Traditionally known for its ability to effectively treat skin wounds, injuries, & rashes. Plantain is antiseptic by nature & helps modulates inflammation; internally & externally.    

- White Yarrow (Achillea millefolium): A wonderful astringent and vulnerary plant that promotes deep healing, specifically when it comes to bleeding for external injuries. It is antiseptic, helps to reduce inflammation, & can also aid in healing bruises by promoting circulation to the affected area. 

- Heirloom Criollo Cacao Butter: A rare variety of cacao native to South America. Highly moisturizing & packed with polyphenols to soothe inflamed or dry skin, promote healing, & boost skin elasticity. 

- Local FL Beeswax: Sourced from Central FL. A natural humectant; creates a protective layer on the skin barrier. 

- Non-GMO Pure Vitamin E Oil (Sunflower Derived): Natural antioxidant. 

All ingredients are organic & sustainably sourced.
